Description: Robert Todd Lincoln in his office with the cast brass desk telephone, 1897. He was then the President of Chicago Telephone Company. Robert Todd Lincoln is seated at his desk and a picture of President Lincoln is hanging on the wall. (I was never thanked or acknowledged by the telephone company for this gift. Mr. Kahne was the curator of the museum.)
