1st page has three special cancellations:
1st day cancellations that were specially issued ty the U.S. Post
Office, who let Phil Wagner travel over Grant's March to fame and
cancel letters for June 10, 1977 in Springfield, Illinois
June 11, 1977 in Jacksonville, Illinois
June 12, 1977 in Naples, Illinois
Each cancellation shows Colonel Grant and his horse and a 134 Liberty
Bell stamp, a 134 eagle stamp and a 134 American Flag stamp. It
was addressed to my oldest son and wife. There were two books which
I had cancelled. I do not know to whom I gave the first.
