Description: A researched booklet by Dr. Wayne C. Temple, designed for the Lincoln-Grant Illinois exhibit in the National Guard Museum in Washington, D.C. February 1981. Phil Wagner furnished the ink and wash used on the front cover. The ink and wash was donated to the National Guard. Wagner made prints and retained the negative. The original line drawing of this same ink and wash is owned by Wagner, and is in this collection. The reprint on page 10 is shown in this catalog, and many signed by the artist. The prints on pages 15 and 22 are also in this catalog. The print of Grant was commissioned by Phil Wagner and used as the signs to mark the route of Grant's March from Springfield to Jacksonville and Naples, Illinois. Original donated to Springfield, Illinois.
