Subject: Celebrating Lincoln's 175th birthday at the Illinois Governor's Mansion

Description: The event was a tourism recognition celebration. Phil Wagner commissioned Lloyd Ostendorf to create an ink art work of Lincoln making a wish over the birthday cake. "I wish freedom for all nations..."

Phil Wagner had prints made as a Lincoln birthday gift for all who attended.

The art work shows Lincoln thinking of a wish and the candles on the cake glowing, along with an envelope addressed to A. Lincoln from The People.
