Subject: Black Hawk War volunteers

Description: On April 21, 1832, Abraham Lincoln and men from New Salem and Clary's Grove assembled on the Dallas Scott farm to form a Company for the Black Hawk War. The men, including William G. Greene, Jack Armstrong, William F. Berry and others elected Lincoln their Captain.
